The Victoria Chart Company was founded in 2003 by Victoria Ballard. Like any parent who wants the best for their child, Victoria wanted to do all that she could for her son, who at the age of around 18 months was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Unsure of how the future may develop for him, Victoria had to take each day as it came. “I knew that I must give my son as much encouragement and praise as possible. Improvement, however small, needed to be acknowledged. To help him on his way, I designed him a reward chart. It was simple to use, great to look at and showed obvious reward. The chart proved a huge success and constantly caught the eye of other mothers”, says Victoria.

It was this combination of her developing role as a mother to a child with special needs and her professional skills as a graphic designer that led to the birth of The Victoria Chart Company.

Today, Victoria balances her life as a divorced mum to her two young children and continues to expand her company. She works with a dedicated team of like-minded individuals. Together they have developed the company into the globally recognised specialist of positive development in children. They are passionate about their products and they continue to research and develop new projects reaching families and children throughout the world.
